The Annual RunSedona, February 2, 2019, features three distances sure to take your breath away: 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. This scenic race attracts athletes from around the globe to enjoy Sedona’s red rocks up close and personal. “If the scenery doesn’t take your breath away, the hills will!” (Formerly known as The Sedona Marathon). 

The 25th Annual Sedona International Film Festival comes to town February 23-March 3, 2019. This is your ticket to the hottest show in town … the GREATEST celebration of the BEST in independent film from around the world! From features to shorts, documentaries to animation and foreign films to student films, you will be treated to a cinephile’s dream – NINE DAYS and more than 160 films! Where Movies Rock!

The Sedona Mountain Bike Festival is March 1-3, 2019. This 3-day mountain bike celebration will include a Main Expo/Festival, Bike Demos, Shuttled Rides, a Beer Garden, great Bands for (3) nights and a whole lotta sweet RED SINGLETRACK! While the core of the event and the vibe will remain the same they do have some tricks up their sleeve for this year. Join The Sedona Arts Center for the 39th Annual Juried Members’ Exhibition and Sale March 1-31, 2019! Artists of all levels, working in all mediums are invited to show their work throughout the month of March in the historic Art Barn Theatre. March 9, 2019 is the Sedona St Patrick’s Parade & Festival! This is a cultural-heritage celebration that is free to attend. The parade starts at 10:30 am along Jordan Road from Jordan Historical Park to Mesquite Avenue. March 14-17, 2019: Situated in the majestic land of Sedona, AZ, the Sedona Yoga Festival is a leading industry yoga conference of professionals and an entry point to authentic yoga for true seekers. With more than 200 total classes, events, workshops, and performances, plus presenters from both around the corner and around the globe, the 7th Annual SYF2019 includes offerings for every level of yogi, from absolute beginner to master teacher.

The Verde River Runoff is March 16, 2019. This 5 & 10-mile kayak, canoe, and stand-up boarder race is a popular event that draws novice and seasoned paddlers alike. The course winds through Forest Service lands set against the picturesque backdrop of white gypsum cliffs of Camp Verde. The 10-mile race starts at White Bridge & the 5-mile at the River Access at Clear Creek. The river has a nice current with Class I-II rapids making this an adventure. Proceeds go to conservation efforts for the threatened Verde River. Registration fees: $25/Fun Float, $50/10 Mile Race. 928.641.6013.

March 23, 2019, is the Sedona Food Truck Festival, from 11:00-5:00 pm. Held at Posse Grounds Park. If good food, good music, and good beer are on your list of favorites, then this event is for you. 20+ food trucks will be on site, each truck will have a $5 sampler menu plus more, $5 beer will be for sale and a live band will be sure to keep you entertained. Admission is free.

March 23, 2019 is the Sedona Stumble Trail Run too! This is Sedona’s ONLY trail run. It is a 5K & 10K. This Race will sell out! All race finishers will receive a medal. Trophies will be given to age group winners as well. Timing will be provided by Run Flagstaff for this event. For more information call 928.282.7098.

Sedona Wolf Week is March 25-30, 2019. Founded by Plan B to Save Wolves & Apex Protection Project this event was created with the mission to change the way people see wolves through education & entertainment. Wolf Week is a diverse program of speakers, performers, school presentations, arts, entertainment, concert, fundraisers, a wolf co-existence panel and social interactions with the Plan B & Apex Protection Project Ambassador Packs. Sedona VegFest 2018

Healthy World Sedona presents the Second Annual Sedona VegFest January 20 & 21, 2018 at the Sedona Performing Arts Center, 995 Upper Red Rock Loop Road. This year’s theme is “Peaceful Plates, Peaceful World.” The event will feature speakers, cooking demonstrations, an art show and exhibitors, all of which will focus on promoting the health, ethical and environmental benefits of a whole-food, plant-based (WFPB) diet and lifestyle.Some of the most widely respected experts and proponents of WFPB living for informative and motivational presentations will be participating. Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, author of Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease, will deliver the keynote address on the personal health benefits of a WFPB diet. Several other widely renowned and highly respected speakers —  including Colleen Patrick-Goudreau, Keegan Kuhn, Dr. Michael Klaper, Brenda Davis, Jane Esselstyn, Sid Garza-Hillman and Jane Velez-Mitchell — will address additional benefits of this type of diet.
