The Sedona International Film Festival was founded in 1994 to celebrate independent films. It is a nine day festival featuring over 145 films, from animation and feature films, to documentaries and foreign films, to shorts and student films. “It’s the GREATEST celebration of the BEST in independent film from around the world” (from Sedona Film Festival). The festival is recognized by filmmakers and audiences as one of the top festivals in the country. It is a tradition of honoring those motivated by passion for their art and driven by a love for making timely, moving and important films.

For nine days from February 18 – 26, join filmmakers, celebrities, industry guests and film buffs from all around the world as Sedona takes center stage with its biggest celebration of film yet.  What celebrities? Martin Sheen, Don Black, Lea Thompson, Emlio Estevez, Suzanne Chisholm & Michael Parfit to name just a few!  There will be galas, events, free workshops and more! The main theatre venue is the Harkins Sedona Six Theatres, 2081 W. Hwy. 89A in Sedona, the Mary D. Fisher Theater, with additional screening venues around Sedona.
