El Portal Featured on Sonoran Living

Sonoran Living has invited our venerable leader to come on the show and talk about traveling with pets! Steve will be on the show Wednesday, March 12 some time between 9:00am-11:00am.

We are very excited, who knows better on how to travel with pets than Steve, owner of the very pet friendly El Portal Sedona Hotel. Steve and Connie have four Basset Hounds, 2 are the “hotel” dogs – Dexter and Oliver.  Steve and Connie actually started in the pet industry.  Steve is a past pet store owner, developed several specialty pet food and pet supplies, and grew the business to L.A Pet Foods marketing pet food and supplies. In addition to owning several pet related businesses for 30 years, he has filled numerous Board of Director positions within several pet industry associations.  He has just ended his three year tenure as the President of the World Pet Association, and has been one of the founding members of the Pet Care Trust, developing the Pets in the Classroom program.
